My art is focused on the un-designed.
It is a deliberate departure from the rising algorithmic optimization of life — observing the ordinary, unstaged, & overlooked. The expressive messes & abstraction hidden in our everyday lives, in nature, and in our built environment. My years growing up in Calcutta taught me how life, love, & art can thrive in a place where many see only death, decay, & wasted market potential. My formal training & global work is all about embodying ideas in concrete form. This is about the opposite — about rediscovering the primacy of mystery, emotion, & unpredictable wonder in life as it is.
